For the fourth part of our coverage of the Stormbringer Metal Festival we talked to the amazing Melissa Moore from Sonja. Enjoy the read!

André: Where are you from? And how long did you travel to get to the festival location? Was it your first time there?

Melissa: We are from Philadelphia. We have ourselves about 6 hours to get to soundcheck on time. This was our first time being at Stormbringer festival but we had all been to the venue before for different shows.

André: Which bands were your highlights at this year’s Stormbringer?

Melissa: Very cool seeing Philadelphia represented including Bastard Cröss and Shadowland having a Philly live member. Destructor had real heavy speed metal energy. Unfortunately we didn’t get to see anything on day two. Everyone was great that we saw though!

André: How did you experience your own performance?

Melissa: Awesome energy from the crowd and we felt heavy metal flow through us the whole time.

André: What do you think of the location? Please also tell us something about the atmosphere.

Melissa: It’s a cool venue with a lot of character. Unexpected to have a heavy metal fest there!

André: Which bands would you like to see next year?

Melissa: Blood Star and Sumerlands!
